EMBERS 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament
On August 14th we held the EMBERS 13th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the UBC University Golf Course! It was a wonderful opportunity to come together to celebrate partnerships and raise funds for our life-changing employment programs.
The tournament was a great success and we are so grateful to our community for their support. To our sponsors, golfers, supporters and volunteers — thank you. Golfing for Good
As EMBERS’ largest fundraising event, the golf tournament is an important opportunity to connect with our supporters while raising funds for our life-changing employment programs. Golfers enjoyed a fun day on the course kicking off with a Megaputt and hole activities thanks to our sponsors (pictured below). What’s better than having fun and giving back at the same time!
Golden Hammer Award
Each year at the banquet following the tournament we recognize the most outstanding EMBERS Staffing worker of the year with the Golden Hammer Award presented by The Home Depot.
This year’s recipient is Dalmar. This is the second year in a row that Dalmar has won this award, a truly remarkable feat. Dalmar is positive, humble and has never missed a day of work. Dalmar’s enthusiasm and professional excellence is an example to us all and a testament to the power of hard work.
